Hudson (a.k.a. Mudson, Mudgie) is a Siberian Husky who came to us as a ~12 week old pup in December 2000 from Karen Yeargain of Tumnatki Siberians. A very handsom boy, Hudson was from the 'car' litter out of Tumnatki's Tucker, SDX and Northome's Silver, SDX. Hudson is a strong contributor to the sled pet team where he mostly runs wheel or team. He's been been getting the chance to run lead with an experienced dog more and more this season and while he's definitely interested in being out front, he needs lots of work on his commands. A wild, 'helicopter' dog at hook up, Hudson is a calm, easy going guy around the house. Somewhat reserved around strangers, he's extremely affectionate with his people and has to be the 'tail-waggingest-dog' ever to live. With the exception of his penchant for digging up the lawn (earning him the moniker 'Mudson'), we couldn't ask for a better pet. Below are some of our better Hudson pictures. Hudson's pedigree (51KB PDF) A Moving Photo Target Hudson is hard to get pictures of...as soon as the camera comes out, he comes over up close and personal to see what's up. Hmm...Where Should I Dig Today? Hudson's favorite backyard pastime is digging holes in the lawn...or pulling out BIG clumps of grass by the roots. Digging is a breed trait anyone thinking of getting a Siberian should consider! Mr. Legs Hudson is a tall, leggy boy even at 3 yrs. Those long legs translate into a beautiful, smooth, effortless gait.
The Cutest Puppy! Hudson was the cutest of puppies. His dark, soulful eyes and symetrical markings always draw attention when we have him out in public. | |
